Honor consultants and give grants to worthy programs
Irvin W. Katz was an IECA founder and treasured mentor to many of us. His life of service and commitment to young people is remembered through these annual awards, established by Irv's family in 2006 to recognize extraordinary community service contributions by IECA consultants. A plaque is presented to each recipient and a $2,000 award is given to a non-profit educational program or school designated by the honoree.Kowalchick Fund
Invest in Educational Environments
The Kowalchick family and the IECA Foundation collaborated to honor Ed Kowalchick, who died in 2009. Ed was a former Chair of the Board of Trustees who dedicated his life and career to initiatives that have a significant impact on students and their educational surroundings. He was an early supporter of the field of educational consulting and worked to develop links between consultants and schools and colleges.
